Claude Chandler entered the dynamic Durban art scene as the child of two successful artists and influential personalities.

Surrounded by galleries and studios from a young age, Claude developed a passion for portraiture in 2005 when he started painting portraits of his high school teachers. This initial project resulted in numerous portrait commissions, establishing his reputation as an artist and boosting his confidence in his skills.
